Pleased to see that two of our PhD students, Fatemeh Rezaei and Ali Sattari were honored as the recipients of the 2023 Outstanding Student Presentation award given by the American Geophysical Union. This honor is awarded for only most exceptional presentations during the AGU 2023 meeting. Fatemeh was recognized for her presentation on “Data-Driven Surrogate Models for Manhole Surcharge Prediction in Urban Flood Management”. Ali was recognized for his presentation on “Enhancing Streamflow Predictions through Postprocessing with a Copula-Embedded Bayesian Model Averaging”. Both students are under the supervision of Prof. Hamid Moradkhani.
